What an absolute BEAST. Repping more functionality that Serum or Phaseplant I reckon comes SURGE. Wobbling in with its flies open givin’ it the biggun this plugin is absolutely saturated with features. If you’re willing to dig a little deeper and get around the slightly ARRRRRGGGHHH classic skin this freebie can quite literally handle all your synthesis needs.
Usually, in these articles, I try to get a quick run-through of the plugin I’m using within this blog post. F**k that. Do you have any idea how long you’d be reading for?
What I will say is you can have x3 self FMing oscillators all FMing each other as well. It’s basically a frequency modulation orgy. Sweaty, inclusive and I love it!
This is like the Skyrim of synthesisers, a little clunky occasionally but you can DO EVERYTHING! Then, when you’ve done everything, you can do everything again and play them TOGETHER thanks to the scene selection mode.
Just download this Synthesiser and watch this video, honestly even if you are a regular Serum, Phaseplant or errr some other synth user this will have some tricks to make you giggle.
In addition, it also has the LARGEST inbuilt FX bank I have ever seen in a synth. Lots of third-party stuff to play within the pre-sets, wavetables, and FX.
It’s honestly crazy that this project is free, huge shout out to all the contributors. Don’t sit around waiting for payday to come so you can Serum up with your mandem. This device can get you that horrific FM gnarly notch filtered goodness for no extra pocket change!
