STONX Weekly DJ-related news!

Safe people, hope all is well in your world!

We’ve been heavily booked up over the summer with releases and production-related things.  Due to that, we’ve been rain-checking going out and playing. Plus our production keeps changing so quickly that we binge out on that. If you’re a producer you’ll understand ha

But we do want to come out and play at least some shows for you this summer! So if anyone has a spare festival, pub, gig spot, or even Weddings and Bar Mitzvah’s we’re interested.

Just hit us up at bookings@stonxmusic.co.uk if you want a big dirty Neurofunk set for a night!

Honestly, who doesn’t!

It’s about time we got and out met all the fantastic people we’ve built relationships online with over the last couple of years.

So get in contact if you want STONX to come and turn your evening upside down!

Here’s our bio for a catch-up:

STONX are from the UK…and they sweat bass frequencies. Originally formed in 2019 and starting to push their sound to the world mid-way through 2020, STONX is a duo that’s making movements in the Drum and Bass scene.

With recent support from the likes of Neuropunk Records, Drevobos Records, Best DNB Podcast, Crow and Bass/Zionov ND, and DJ Hex and DNB Dojo, the boys are relentlessly driving their sound into the heavier end of the industry (think Jack Hammer heavy). Recent airtime on BBC Radio proves the audience is happy for the barrage to continue.

Recent successes include winning a place on the Teddy Killerz & Gydra Patreon competition LP, and having their track ‘Bad Robot’ dropped at Inkwells (Printworks).

Their sound is an exercise in distortion worship and emotional instability, with banging, grinding, and pumping basslines. Ruthless amounts of saturation applied to mangled sounds are what’s on the menu and, the menu is extensive. Although It’s better to let our Discord community describe it:

‘I’m genuinely frightened whenever I hear a Stonx track’

‘When your integrated volume is -2dB, it’s probably time to call your shrink’

‘STONX go up!’

Find both James and Ollie in their discord server, generally chatting away, helping producers out with their day-to-day questions, or just meme-ing their way through the apocalypse like everyone else.

It’s an unstable world right now, listen to some unstable music, listen to STONX.

So chuck as an email and unleash us!
