Meet Triddy : A Passionate Advocate for the Neurofunk Scene
If you’re in the Discord, you may recognize Triddy as the Stream Master General, the legend who organizes our monthly raid trains. But Triddy is much more than that! With his finger on the pulse of the Czech neurofunk scene and regularly playing shows, he is an extremely welcomed and amazing asset to us at Stonx Music. Known for his boundless energy and deep connection to the music community, Triddy has been instrumental in bringing people together and fostering a sense of unity among fans and artists alike. We sat down with Triddy to ask him a few questions.
Triddy:
What Attracted You to Stonx Music?
At first, 2 years or so ago, I was absolutely captured by the signature sound Stonx had. It made me relive memories of when I was 15 yr old till basically the end of university, where my “pump-up” playlist had a mish-mash of DnB and funky or interesting basslines like Muse – Hysteria or Queen – Another One Bites The Dust. To me at that point in time it was a fusion of sounds, which was absolutely unheard of anywhere close. But in the end, what attracts me daily now is the community. Stonx Music community simply offers to me a home, not in location, but in understanding. There is simply no other place that encompasses the love for DnB and Neurofunk, supports everyone to chase their own goals and dreams and provides invaluable feedback.
What aspect of your role excites you the most?
Other than enabling me even more to do, what I love the most – interacting with the rave community, I’m extremely excited to be able to be a part of pioneering the label’s unique sound. It’s definitely a difficult role in that sense, but there’s no need for fear – there’s always the rest of the crew I can rely on, when faced with difficult decisions. If there’s one more thing I’m looking forward to, it’s the fact, that being a part of Stonx Music label gives me the ability to pursue a project on a bigger scale, that could benefit more than just me, but the whole community.
What do you hope to bring to Stonx music?
First and foremost, I hope to bring more of my energy to the community. Secondly, I’d like to utilize my ever-growing contacts and ability to quickly layout proper analysis of the current scene to the crew, as I’m out on raves every week either playing or raving, where both can give valuable insights as to how some things work and some might not.
