We’ve been chatting with the people at bestdrumandbass.com for a while now. They’re a huge force for Dark Drum and Bass/Neurofunk in the USA and we love all they do. Dorian’s been so kind to host a mix of ours and release one of our tunes (Acheron) on his label Abducted LTD in the past. We look forward to everything that the future holds for Best Drum and Bass and Stonx Music.
We were taking out regular read through their news section and found their ‘Best Drum and Bass: Artists to Follow 2022 Vol. 3’ article. Be sure to check out some of the great artists on their list, such as Despersion, Kaizen Flow, Myselor, and a cheeky little entry from the STONX boys themselves!

STONX – NEW DIMENSION – BASS RABBIT PREMIERE
Speaking of our ‘What’s Wrong EP’ release (we haven’t been speaking of much else recently) we had some fantastic news this week. We’ve been fans of Bass Rabbit and all they do for a long time now. As a part of our promo list, the channel owner receives our music early access. He was kind enough to put the second track from the EP ‘New Dimension’ up on his channel this Tuesday past, premiere stylee!

STONX – WHAT’S WRONG? EP – OUT TOMORROW!
What’s Wrong, What’s Wrong, What’s Wrong, What’s Wrong?
‘What’s Wrong?’ It’s a question that doesn’t get asked often enough. This two-track EP from STONX explores the inner chaos of navigating today’s world while keeping your sanity. As we make technological advances further and further at an ever-increasing rate, the foundations we’re building upon seem less and less stable. This birthed the ‘What’s Wrong? EP.
A two-track offering, ‘What’s Wrong?’ the opener. is a soundscape of bleak proportions with a deranged and unstable drop. Unstable distortion is impaled by dissonant arps as the listener is dragged further and further into the chaos. This is an absolute ear ruiner with inspiration taken from pain and terror. An homage to our societal decline. What’s Wrong? ….this is.
‘New Dimension’ is the other side of the coin. With new technologies, there’s always new hope and opportunities, but at what cost? It’s all spacey SFX year 3000 pads with a mighty heralding reesebass solo before the equal parts techy and groovy drop. The track is ‘Rise of the Machines’ and you’re there to witness it. Watch out for the ground-shaking half-time section bringing up the rear. We may have already gone past the threshold point….
