ARTIST BIO
Raspber (alias Jiri Malinka) is a hugely talented Drum and Bass/Multigenre DJ and producer, from a small town called Koprivnice, Czech republic.
For the last few years he has been working out of and contributing the music scene of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
With a passion for all types of Electronic Music since 2004, a curious nature left Raspber fascinated with the creation of the sounds he’d grown to love. The conception of the Raspber project began it’s life in the Electro/Fidget House and Dubstep world. This was all until the fateful moment an ‘amen break’ was heard and higher tempo achieved. After that, it’s all DNB Bangers.
Immediately falling in love with broken beats and fast paced energy, Raspber’s first contribution to Drum and Bass came in 2012 on 4Beats Records. This began a rampage of releases which have appeared on the likes of Exclusive Records, Histeria Records, BMB, Frogs On Acid plus multiple DJ/ Radio appearances.
Adding to his ever growing list of skills, Raspber has a great deal of experience in promotional work. (Stubass, StageBox) which he uses to push his sound to the masses.
When attending a Raspber DJ set, expect a variety of Dancefloor, Jumpup, Neurofunk and Jungle with a heavy focus on groove. In recent years he’s combined forces with another fantastic Czech DJ and Promoter ‘Bruno’ so look out for ‘Bruno and Raspber‘ on flyers and gig posts!
Taking the stage at festivals and clubs gigs with big legendary names like Neonlight, James Marvel, Counterstrike, Rido, Chris.Su, Redpill, Mizo, Cooh, Changing Faces, Madface and many more, Raspber is a unit that you want to have your eyes on in the near future and beyond.

Raspber – Perfect Storm – Coming on STONXMUSIC
A perfect storm, is an unusual combination of events that produce an unusually powerful result. We welcome Raspber to his first solo StonxMusic release with a swirling, stormy behemoth of a track ‘Perfect Storm’.
The track begins by slowly building the intensity, like thunderclouds forming suddenly out of the blue. Crisp percs, thick pads, and spacey breaks draw the listener deeper and deeper into the cyclonic wind. From the drop, it’s a techy, faced-paced neuro roller that undulates and lurches around like a ship on the verge of capsizing.
Ride the vertical waves and crash into the foaming depths. This track is all about intensity and movement. The fast-paced techy lead augments the rolling bass perfectly. Stonx Music is lucky to have a man like Raspber on the roster. Moving into the B section the rhythm switches up for a wavey rehash which means this one’s going to be one of those infinitely DJ’able bangers that’ll be heard for years to come.
STONXMUSIC will be releasing this tune worldwide with a focus on European and US audiences. Marketed through Facebook advertising and other mediums.
