We’re super excited for the upcoming months and we want to tell you why!
We’ve been working tirelessly with a selection of fantastic artists and labels recently. It’s begun to stack up quite an interesting summer of upcoming NEUROFUNK Drum and Bass., STONX STYLE 😉.
Firstly, we’ve got a music video that we can’t wait to unleash upon on all of you. Prepare for our track ‘Catastophic Impact’ landing on 29.07.2022. XYLO records will be our first release on a UK label (other than our own!). So, we’re gonna be driving a lot of hometown support during the run-up to this release. The video’s just a part of that.
Secondly, we’ve got a collaboration with our good friend Sinan Philipp (Sindicate) being released STATESIDE. This is on the fantastic US Neurofunk Label ABDUCTED RECORDS! This will be our first US release. We’re really looking to build a market over there (before either of our countries collapse) so this is a major play for us! If you’re one of our US fans then please spread this around like something that isn’t a global pandemic!
On the subject of FEAR (no one brought up fear James) and rounding out our third point is the release of our track ‘PRIMITIVE TERROR’ on Neuroheadz! Neuroheadz are a fantastic crew and label from the UK. They just hosted the UK’s FIRST dedicated Neurofunk festival and it was incredible! Check them out whenever you get time or before if possible!
Fourrrrrthly, we have started a Church and we have some disciples! Prepare for our VA ‘Disciples of Distortion’ coming out on STONXMUSIC soon! We’ve started to get the finished products in and they’re FILTHY. We’re penciling this to come out over the summer as well so you’re gonna end up getting about 15 tracks out of us in one season!
And finally, another STONX EP is nearly finished!?! No matter how busy we are, we’re always making tunes. We’ve just finished ANOTHER 3 track EP which we’ll be firing out when there’s room in the queue! This is a big, hardcore experimental stomper and we’re really pushing the boundaries of our sound/noise! That’s FINALLY it. There’s probably some other stuff that we’ve forgotten but that makes sure there are always surprises 😉
